My name is Matt (He/Him) I am a 38 year old Pansexual Transhumanist. I enjoy PC and Retro Video Gaming, especially when I can kick back and play some Sega Saturn. I have nearly 2 decades of experience in playing in and being the game master of many various games and systems from games as commonly known such as Dungeons and Dragons but to lower known titles like Three Sixteen.
I create games based on a hand made game engine called the "Soul Core Engine" for a series of future games beginning with my first "Hard Void." The Soul Core Engine is designed to allow the player to make and maintain a constant yet evolving character that is built with improvements over the last iteration body they maintained, while also having the safety net to push their luck and make dangerous or risky decisions for the sake of doing cool and creative actions. Creativity is rewarded heavily with in Soul Core Engine games, and dying in the sense of ceasing to exist has been made a thing of the past, and the player only dies if they choose to make a new character. What feels worse than losing a character half way through a campaign you are a month or two into, and spent 13 hours writing the back story and 2 days trying to think of the perfect name?
I hope you choose to take a look at my games, and find some fun and excitement in the creativity allowed and encouraged to the players and the GM. Hard Void is the first attempt at a light weight new player friendly version of the Soul Core Engine, with future stories and campaigns and evolutions to the Soul Core to come following the establishment of Hard Void 1.0. I will also be as time permits making games to participate in various Game Jams, and other projects that I will also be releasing here as they develop.
